Rene Marie Russo, an American actor and film maker who was once a supermodel is a film director. Rene Marie Russo is a famous American actor, director and former supermodel. She's known for her beauty and elegance. Her longevity in an extremely competitive field shows her skills and talent as an actor. Her professional career started with a modeling job in 1970, and she quickly rose to the top of the heap. In the early 1980s, she began taking acting classes and studied theater prior to performing on theater stage of Los Angeles. Russo first made her television debut in ABCs Sable as Eden Kendell, in 1987. In her first film Major League two years after she portrayed Tom Berengers romantic interest. Initially skeptical about her capability in the field of acting, public was enticed because of her tenacity. They were most impressed with her when she appeared in Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak in which she stood her own in the face of Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. She claims that she was never a fan in acting. After a prolonged break, she self-imposed the role in 2005. Following a lengthy break, she came back with her role in Thor. Also, she was in her husband's Oscar award-winning film Nightcrawler. The Intern was her first light-hearted comedy. Her next film was to be a part of Just Getting Started and other comedy films.
Rose Namajunas was one of the top female athletes in the UFC. Her career began in amateur fighting, taking part in numerous regional promotions before registering to Invicta Fighting Championships and later becoming a member of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Invicta Fighting Championships signed her when she was 18 years old and she was able to win 2 fights via submission. Dana White was impressed and brought Rose into UFC's strawweight division when she was 22 years of age in December of 2014. Rose's career has seen highs as well as lows, yet she is always capable of coming out of her fights on top. Rose fought Carla Esparza on April 15, 2015, for the Women s Strawweight Championship. Rose beat Esparza with a technical knockout within less than three minutes of Round One. Rose not only won the championship but was recognized as Fighter Of The Night. Rose also made MMA history with this match since she was the first woman to compete to win the title of champion in any organization of note. Namajunas continued to have many more victories, including two victories against Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her Best Performance of the Night award from UFC.
